OK folks, here it is. The caricature I promised you earlier this week. Isn't it just awful that these artists always seem to focus on the one or two things you are the most self-conscious about? I swear my chin isn't that pointy in real life!
Oh well, it's all in good fun!
The thing that I found amazing with this was when the artist said "OK, what activity would you like to be doing?" I immediately said "How about trail running!?!" It wasn't cycling, cooking, baking or playing trivia and games with friends - all of which I still enjoy and have enjoyed for much longer than trail running. I love the new challenge of trail running and I've become excited to get out and enjoy nature in a different way! Even though I'm still
Due to conflicting schedules and a bit of a Summer flu on my end, Coach Tim and I won't be able to meet up this weekend, but he did mention that I should try out a mini hill run with the treadmill. I'm to do: 3% incline for 1 minute then 2 minutes flat, 4% for 1 minute then 2 minutes flat 5% for 1 minute then 2 minutes flat. This sequence should be repeated for 2 rounds. I'm going to try it tonight and let you know. You should try it with me and let me know what you thought!
I'm also planning on running the Sessions Woods trail at some point this weekend - just to see how fast I can do it. I'll keep you posted!
